Mary-Rita Chioma Anosike
Violin
Anosike Mary-Rita Chioma joined the St. Dominic's Orchestra as a violinist in 2016. Before joining the orchestra, she was a chorister in Queen of Angels choir, St Dominic's Catholic Church. Her love for music drove her to learn the violin and have performed several genre of songs ranging from classicals, to contemporaries, to afro-pop, to gospels. She has also extended her knowledge in music by participating in the Musical Society of Nigeria examination and was graded with distinction.
She has featured and performed in several concerts. Some of which include; 'Opera of the Blessed'. 'Christmas of Love', 'Rhapsody of Love' and 'Concert of Hope'. She currently the Head of Training in the St. Dominic's Orchestra, and together with her group, have organized several musical trainings in schools and churches.
She believes in the immortality of music and the power it wields over the mind and soul.
